In 1996, Daniele Travi and his wife Roberta Beltracchini founded a farm dedicated to the rediscovery of the indigenous Verdesa grape variety, appreciated since the time of Pliny the Elder. The Travi family, with a long winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century, began with one hectare of land and expanded to fifteen hectares, including vineyards in Balbianello and Lenno. The management is family-run, with the support of expert oenologists and an agronomist. Today, their daughter Silvia also runs the Agriturismo Sorsasso, offering overnight stays and tastings of the farm's products: Domasino white, red, and rosé wines; Spumante; Sorsasso Grappa; and extra virgin olive oil.
